How it works

First Steps
Upon choosing Captain Mewalot to look after your cat(s), we will organise an introductory meeting at your home where you and your Pet Sitter can get to know each other. This is also an opportunity to show your Sitter around and introduce them to where your Pet Supplies are kept (food, cat litter etc.). You can also give instructions to the likes and dislikes of your cat(s) and point out favourite toys and treats. You can give your house key to the Pet Sitter at this visit and confirm the dates when you will be away.

While you’re away
We will visit your cat(s) once a day (or more often if required) and make sure he/she is fed, watered and healthy. The duration and services provided on each visit are flexible according to you and your cat’s requirements. Our main aim is to make the cat happy so if they’re interacting and playing with us, we’ll stay longer. We’re only truly happy once we’ve made a new friend! We will also carry out any other household tasks that you’ve asked us to do while you’re away.

Check up on your cat while you are away
An online diary of your pet’s activities will be kept and completed on a daily basis while you are away. Simply by logging into the customer area with your username and password you’ll be able to find out what your cat has been up to! Missing your cat half way through your holiday? No problem, just login and find out how he/she is! (we’ll tell you how to login before you leave – it’s easy)

On your return
Once we have received confirmation that you have returned, we will return your house keys. We won’t return the keys until we know that you’re safely back and haven’t been delayed at all. In such a scenario, we would keep feeding your cat(s) until you’re back. Upon your return, we will present you with your invoice.
